Olives from Spring Range

We come from diary farming stock on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. After being off the land for over forty years we were drawn to a farm in Spring Range, on the boarder of the ACT and NSW. This region is renowned for its great olive oil.

In 2010, we commenced planting 1400 olive trees and rearing 24 alpacas to roam amongst the crop.

This year, we undertook our first harvest and produced the debut batch of Monte Rocoso extra virgin olive oil.

Fruity facts

To develop the unique taste, our olive oil is comprised of five tree varieties. We plant a different variety of olive in alternate rows in order to promote cross pollination.

As a result of the combination of varieties, our oil is fruity with a peppery finish.
